I'm an aspiring ethnomusicologist who's currently studying classical voice and music education. Music is my axis, my stability. I am a vegetarian but not militantly so. It is my choice; it's not my place to make those decisions for other people. Sunsets and snowfall have the power to transfix me. A sure-fire way to upset me is to mess with one of these. I form attachments quickly and can be naive but once my trust is broken there's little chance of repair. I tend to isolate myself. Having true friends that make the effort to interact is something I don't take lightly. I am a crusader for proper spelling and grammar. Poor linguistic skills make me lose respect for people, despite my best efforts. I try to perform at least one random act of kindness a day. I am alternately hyper and contemplative, though most people only see my hyper side. I am a horrible debater but love a good conversation. I think I'm being overly introspective, if there is such a thing.

These images are from books from author/illustrator Joost Elffers and Saxton Freymann - there are tons of books, including Fast Food, How Are You Peeling?, and Dog Food. Amazon has a bunch of them. They're kinda friggin amazing.
